FULFILD’S PROHIBITED ITEMS LIST
In compliance with South African laws and regulations, the following items are strictly prohibited from being transported via Fulfild:
1. Precious Metals & Stones
Gold, silver, platinum, diamonds, and other precious or semi-precious stones.
2. Monetary Instruments & Securities
Bullion, cash, credit/debit/ATM cards, store gift vouchers, traveler’s cheques, bonds, deeds, treasury notes, banknotes, and postage stamps.
3. Confidential & Intellectual Property
Documents, manuscripts, plans, designs, photographic negatives, patterns, and molds.
4. Art & Collectibles
Antiques, paintings, statues, and other valuable artwork.
5. Animal Products
Fur, ivory, leather, skins, and related items.
6. Tobacco & Related Products
Cigars, cigarettes, tobacco, and other high-duty tobacco products.
7. Perishable & Temperature-Sensitive Goods
Fresh food, packaged foodstuffs, perishable items, and temperature-controlled cargo.
8. Electronics & High-Value Devices
Audio-visual equipment, cameras, lenses, computers, software, gaming consoles, handheld devices, mobile/satellite phones, pre-paid vouchers, SIM cards, and related accessories.
9. Metal & Scrap Materials
Non-ferrous and scrap metals.
10. Bulk Cargo
Items requiring specialized bulk transportation.
11. Inadequately Packaged Goods
Items packed in substandard or insufficient packaging.
12. Household & Personal Effects
Personal belongings and privately owned motor vehicles.
13. Fragile Materials
Glass, mirrors, crystal, ceramics, pottery, porcelain, plaster, marble, stone, slate, resin, granite, and concrete-based products.
14. Botanical & Agricultural Products
Plants, seeds, flowers, and plant-based derivatives.
Dangerous Items
The following hazardous materials are strictly prohibited:
Liquids – Including creams, lotions, and other liquid substances.
Explosives – Ammunition, fireworks, and related materials.
Compressed Gas – Aerosols, carbon dioxide gas, and cigarette lighters.
Flammable Liquids – Alcohol, thinners, varnish removers, turpentine, and petroleum products.
Flammable Solids – Magnesium, matches, zinc powder, and similar substances.
Oxidizing Agents – Bleach, certain hair dyes, peroxide, and fiberglass repair kits.
Poisons & Toxic Substances – Including drugs and medicines.
Radioactive Materials – Mercury-filled thermometers and similar items.
Magnetized Materials & Hazardous Papers – Such as oiled paper.
Prohibited Goods
The following goods are not permitted for transport under any circumstances:
Banknotes – Including South African banknotes of any issue or denomination.
Coins – Any form of currency coins.
Asbestos – In any form.
Living Organisms – Any animals, insects, or biological substances.
Firearms & Related Parts – Including firearm components.
Human Remains – Including ashes.
Uninsured Jewelry & Precious Metals – Jewelry, precious stones, or precious metals without adequate insurance.
Restricted Media – Any film or publication classified under category XX or X18 of the Films and Publications Act 65 of 1996 (as amended).
Important Notice
Fulfild reserves the right to refuse transportation of any item deemed hazardous, illegal, or inappropriate for courier services. Clients are responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
